Even when I was much much younger my parents didn't supervise me a lot. I had free reign over my comings and goings from the time I was 4 or 5, although I had to be in bed by 8. It was great. I can't imagine having my parents following me around when I was a trick-or-treating, ever! I guess times were different back then. When I go trick-or-treating with the kids, I always carry an extra bag where they can unload some of their treats when their bags get heavy. I thought the moral of the story is don't use a paper bag. :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18348841.post-1162395029055123612006-11-02T02:30:00.000+11:002006-11-02T02:30:00.000+11:00Since I was a farm kid living in very rural Americ...Since I was a farm kid living in very rural America, I never ended up with more than a dozen or so pieces of candy. The good side of it was that because there were so few trick-or-treaters, we always were given the full size stuff and never the minis that everyone hands out these days.Edhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13214319366049620074noreply@blogger.com
