A pilot can allow the aircraft to fly itself right down the glidepath to the runway, and then, if necessary, the plane can even reverse engines and stop itself, automatically. Take offs requires even less worry; just power it up and rotate into the sky. Its safer than crossing the street, MUCH safer.
<BRPhilippinesPhilhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15921214743105919057noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18348841.post-58313812017088006552007-10-26T03:26:00.000+10:002007-10-26T03:26:00.000+10:00Tried to picture myself with you at Metro Detroit ...Tried to picture myself with you at Metro Detroit on a late rainy night.

Was easy to do since our last trip there was similarly situated. No, not the malfunctioning engine.

But our flights both in and out were at close to midnight. I didn't even mention the little girl sitting behind me that squalled all the way to Manila; or, the idiot in front of me that would just blast straight back into full sleep position without looking back to see where my legs were; or, that my seat wouldn't lock full forward, so that during landings and takeoffs the attendants kept urging mePhilippinesPhilhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15921214743105919057noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18348841.post-26167370759345774512007-10-24T02:34:00.000+10:002007-10-24T02:34:00.000+10:00Quite the trip back. Over the counter drugs these days can work wonders on making me sleep and drool my way through a large part of a 16 hour plane flight. However, now that I have a kid, I don't know what I will do. Drug her too? Since that isn't a very good option yet, we are having mother-in-law fly over instead.Edhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13214319366049620074noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18348841.post-89654271115210816412007-10-22T22:57:00.000+10:002007-10-22T22:57:00.000+10:00Understand.
